Recital Showcase
Dance Alive! Dance Studio provides students with an exciting performance experience through its June Recital Showcase of Dancers. The recital is a very important part of our dancers’ education. The Recital Showcase offers our students an opportunity to perform in a professionally directed and produced stage production! They learn not only how to perform on a stage as a “professional”, but they get to see what goes on behind the scenes to make a production come to life! From learning about spiking the stage and finding their “mark”, to setting lights and watching the stage techs work the “fly system”. Dancers will also learn theater etiquette, how to work behind the scenes with others for mutual success and many more lessons that will last a lifetime both in and out of the theatre.
A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance. The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance, and contributes to a sense of confidence. Although performance opportunities can help prepare some students for a possible career in dance, they also contribute to children’s success in non-dance activities such as better in-school presentations, improved social skills, and strong interview skills for future college or job opportunities. Recital Showcase begins with Stage Rehearsal , Dress Rehearsals, and TWO Performances for each Showcase!
With over 350 dancers enrolled in over 100 classes taught each week at the Dance Alive!, we have so many beautiful, wonderful, exciting performances to showcase at the recital! To keep the showcase performances an enjoyable length for each age group of dancers and their families, we have divided the performances into 3 separate age groups, with 3 unique showcases!
Recital Week begins on June 6th and continues through 8th, 2025. Full details will be sent via email to guide you through the entire process!

Hooked in a Feeling – 2:30 Performance – Dancers Classes – 5-7 through 7-9 Years Old
