This is the goal at Dance Alive! Dance Studio. By being positive role models, by encouraging kids to dance for the joy of it, and by supporting each other, we can make our dance studio a positive and enjoyable space & experience for everyone.
Through the art of dance, children tap into their creativity and let their emotions flow freely, all while building their self-esteem and self-worth.
In dance, children learn that hard work and perseverance pay off. They learn that when they focus and dedicate themselves to their craft, they can achieve their goals and dreams. They learn that they are part of a team and that their individual contributions are essential to the success of the group. In our studio, they are learning life lessons in their dance lessons, and building strong character & integrity along with their technique.
Dance education is so much more than just learning how to move to music. It is a place where children of all ages learn important life lessons that will serve them well throughout their entire lives. Our Mission
Dance Alive! Dance Studios mission is to provide an excellent dance education from instructors who teach with enthusiasm, are motivating, encouraging, good role models, and lead by example in a nurturing, safe, and fun environment that is free from judgment and empowers dancers to explore their creativity.
We will inspire dancers of all ages at every skill level to achieve their fullest potential and grow strong in body, mind and spirit. Our experienced and knowledgeable faculty teaches “the whole dancer”, keeping techniques, music, movement, and costuming appropriate for all.
It is our goal to be a positive influence to everyone in our studio and community by setting high standards for our faculty, staff, dancers and families to achieve to their fullest potential both in the dance studio classroom and in life.

About The Studio
Dance Alive! Dance Studio is an award winning studio with a solid reputation for building dancers strong in body, mind and spirit. Dance Alive! offers progressive study in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary Lyrical, Tap, and Creative Movement for infants through advanced levels emphasizing the joy of dance and the excitement of performing! Dance Alive! offers many performance opportunities throughout the season including a yearly recital showcase & national conventions and competitions, as well as many local performances!
We also have National Award Winning Performing Companies and Competitive dance teams.
Dance Alive! Dance Studio was established in 1995 and is located in Manteno just off I-57 at 293 Southcreek Drive in Tower Place.
About The Faculty
Our teaching staff continues their training and study in dance with the masters of their field. They continue to expand their dance education by attending specialized dance classes with world famous dance educators, choreographers and dancers. They also attend yearly dance conventions and seminars for dance educators.
Our well rounded faculty began training in the classroom just like your dancer! Our staff has continued their dance career on to the professional stage as well as the college classroom. Our dance educators all share the same vision, philosophy, syllabus, and direction for their dancers. They train each dancer as an individual while using a unified teaching syllabus strong in technique.
Dance Alive! Dance Studio has broken ground for many of our dancers to pursue careers as professional dancers as well as inspired many to go on to become dance educators themselves!
The faculty at Dance Alive! has been recognized for dance and choreography excellence many times over and continues to strive for a higher level of excellence with every class.
